Strategic Funding for Puget Sound Recovery

The EPA's National Estuary Program makes substantive investments in Puget Sound recovery through funding opportunities by the Habitat, Shellfish, and Stormwater Strategic Initiative Leads (SILs). Each SIL releases competitive Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to provide grants to sub-recipients to advance our investment priorities, described in the Strategic Initiatives' Investment Plan. These projects protect and restore habitat, water quality, and harvestable shellfish beds and help build a more resilient, equitable, and sustainable future for Puget Sound.

Current Funding Opportunities

Click the buttons above or links in the table below to access current RFP information from each SIL. Check back later for additional RFPs to be announced in the coming months.

This funding process is guided by the joint Strategic Initiatives' 2023 Investment Plan (Habitat) and 2024 Investment Plan (Stormwater and Shellfish).
