A new Shoreline Armoring Implementation Strategy that aims to reduce shoreline armoring in Puget Sound is ready for public review and input. The Habitat Strategic Initiative team developed the strategy in partnership with the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife, Washington Department of Natural Resources, Puget Sound Partnership, Puget Sound Institute, and an Interdisciplinary Team of experts.

The Shoreline Armoring Implementation Strategy draft will be available for public comment from October 30 through December 8.

You can find the Implementation Strategy draft documents online. The primary document is the narrative. Supporting material can be found in the appendices.

Provide comments
There are two ways to give feedback:
• Complete a brief questionnaire.
• Use the downloadable comment form to provide detailed, individual comments on the Implementation Strategy. The form contains instructions on submitting comments through this method.
